Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)

The Karnataka TET is conducted by the Centralized Admission Cell (CAC) under the Government of Karnataka. The TET Exam is conducted for recruitment of candidates into various posts in the education department of Karnataka. The KARTET exam is conducted every year for the candidates who are local to Karnataka. Various posts include Primary Teachers and Elementary teachers. Candidates who are interested to work in the Government Jobs of Karnataka  or Teacher Jobs can apply to this posts through online mode after the release of notification. Karnataka TET Exam Pattern 2025

The KARTET Examination consists of 3 Phases :

1. Written Test.
2. Skill Test (Teaching Methodology Test).
3. Personal Interview.

The Karnataka TET Written Exam consists of the following features:

• The Examination consists of 2 Papers.
• The exam is of Objective type i.e it consists of Multiple Choice Questions.
• The Paper I is conducted for Selecting Primary Stage Teachers.
• The Paper II is conducted for Selecting Elementary Stage Teachers.
• The Duration of each paper is 2 Hours 30 minutes.
• Each Paper consists of 150 Questions.
• The total marks for each paper is 150.
