Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Syllabus 2025

Candidates applying for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test can get the complete CTET Syllabus Details and the Exam Pattern. For the aspirants to prepare well for the examination, we have also provided the Previous Year Question Papers, Exam Dates, and Other necessary information related to appearing for the exam. The exam will be of 2 phases, i.e., Paper 1 & Paper 2. Both exams will conduct on the same day at different periods (time). CTET Paper, I (Primary Level) will conduct for the candidates who wish to teach from Classes 1 to 5. CTET Paper-II (Elementary Level) will take by aspirants who want to teach from classes 6 to 8.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test Papers Pdf

CTET Paper 1 will be conducted for applicants who want to get employed as teachers in central government-aided schools like Kendriya Vidyalaya.
CBSE CTET Paper 2 will be conducted for job seekers seeking employment in elementary classes of schools.

About Board:

By the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) vide Notification laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII. It had been, among other things, provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in Clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that they should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which the appropriate Government will conduct by the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.
