Job Responsibilities :

• Assist Secondary team in updating the pricing & risk management system used to value the loan position.
• Produce and enhance existing analytics suite to be used to support trading and P&L explain activities.
• Review daily pipeline reports to identify and resolve issues, deviations, or areas of concern.
• Work with Traders to remediate any issues with the systems related to valuations or position management.
• Support the buildout of new MSR, Margin and/ or Price adjusters within the Compass Point application.
• Assist with the development of rate sheets, heatmaps and valuation calculations for existing and new products. 
• Support development of daily analytics to monitor the position and automate early detection of issues.
• Assist error or issue tracking and provide root cause analysis. 

Qualification / Required Skills :

• Master’s degree preferred; with focus in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in secondary marketing, trading, valuations, and/or capital markets 
• Ability to interface confidently with internal/external parties
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills highly preferred, and SQL or programming experience preferred
• Strong data analysis experience required
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Superior communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
